Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Lima - Tequila Sunset

  • Arrive in Lima, the vibrant capital of Peru

  • Free time: Optional evening stroll along the picturesque waterfront of Miraflores.

  • Welcome dinner featuring traditional Peruvian cuisine with a theme of "Tequila Sunset" to kick off the adventure.

Day 2: Lima City Tour - Boho Chic

  • International Breakfast

  • Explore the historic center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage site visit iconic landmarks such as Cathedral of Lima, and San Francisco Monastery.

  • Participate in a Peruvian lunch cooking class specializing in ceviche, Peru's national dish.

  • Evening visit to the Larco Museum to learn about ancient Peruvian civilizations followed by a Boho chic themed dinner.

Day 3: Huacachina Dunes, Paracas Ica, & Wine Tour

  • International Breakfast

  • Discover the serene landscapes of the Peruvian countryside on a full-day tour from Lima. Slide down the Huacachina dunes for an adventurous experience.

  • Learn about the local wildlife at Ballestas Islands, see sea lions & penguins.

  • Visit a local winery and enjoy tastings of pisco and wine on the tour.

  • Optional stop in Chincha Alta for more countryside experiences.

Day 4: Community Empowerment Project - Amazonian Exploration

  • International Breakfast

  • Participate in a community empowerment project focused on women's entrepreneurship in art, culture, & traditions

  • Engage with local women's cooperatives to learn traditional crafts or culinary techniques.

  • Lunch with an Amazonian family to sample local specialties and exchange cultural insights.

  • Free time: Optional evening wind down at Makaha Beach & souvenir shops.

  • Farewell Dinner

Day 5: Departure

  • International Breakfast

  • Transfer to the airport for your return journey.

PERU ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • US passport valid for 6 months past your return date and one blank visa page.

  • A Visa is also required for US Passport Holders to enter into Peru. Apply 30 days prior to arrival.

  • Non-US Citizens or travelers without a US passport will need to consult their local embassy.

  • Airport: (LIM) Jorge Chávez International Airport.

  • Local Currency: Peruvian Soles.

ADDITIONAL INFO & TERMS

TRAVEL INSURANCE REQUIRED

We REQUIRE purchasing travel insurance to protect you and your investment in case of an emergency. Everyone's needs are different, and you can do a search on the best travel insurance to meet your needs. Here is a list of some popular travel insurance providers.

PAYMENTS:

  • All monthly payments are due the 15th of every month

  • Bi-weekly payments are due 10th and 20th of every month.

  • LATE FEES IS $25 PER PAYMENT (unless arrangements made prior)

  • FINAL PAYMENT 30 DAY PRIOR TO DEPARTURE

PAYMENT PLANS: Payment plans are made to be flexible and budget friendly. If you every need to make adjustments, email us and we will accommodate you best way possible. All payments will be automatically deducted from the account that you have on file.

REFUNDS: Deposits are refundable within 30 days of purchase or 60 day prior to departure (which ever date is first). All payments after deposit to Powerwoman International are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Powerwoman International has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain refunds. This way, we can keep our package prices competitive and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation. That's why we require travel insurance.

ROOMMATE MATCHING: Roommate matching is available. You will be matched with a roommate 30 days before your trip departure date.

 

ITINERARIES: Itineraries are subject to change in making the best decision for the group and vendor availability. Finalized itineraries are delivered to participants 30 days before the start of the trip.

NAME CORRECTION & CHANGE: Reservations must be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your passport. Your name on your invoice MUST match your passport.

  • Name changes are allowed up until the final payment date and $100 + any vendor’s fees after the final payment date on your payment plan.
